Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of our frequently asked questions. If you have any other
questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us
via the web, or come and visit us at a location near
you.
| Why wasn't I notified by your office of this change? We needed to finalize our contract termination with Farmers prior to sending a formal notification. Sending a notice before that date could have resulted in a contract violation. We are now able to more freely discuss this change and chose this as the best time to do so.

| What does this change mean for me? As a Farmers client, your policies have been re-assigned to another agent selected by Farmers. However, at Pope Insurance Group we are now in a better position to offer coverages from a variety of carriers without having to fit every client into one company's box. This means better value for our clients.

| I want to stay with Farmers. Can you still be my agent? No. Farmers is a captive carrier and, as such, allows their agents to write only with them; it is all or nothing with Farmers.

|
| Why did you leave Farmers? Over the years, we have strived to provide great service and a superior product offering to our clients that presented the best possible value for them. With recent rate increases and perpetual billing problems, we found that we could no longer do that with just one carrier. In order to have options beyond one carrier and their rates, it became necessary for us to sever our ties with Farmers.

| What about my non-Farmers policies that are with the agency? Nothing at all changes for policies written outside of the Farmers Insurance Group policies. We are still your agent of record for any policies not with Farmers or Foremost.
